News and Events of 2007
10-3-07 The last cria of the season arrived at Blue Moon Ranch today. Luna and Teewinot made a wonderful "criation" once again. He has the densest fleece I have ever seen on a new born and I believe has a great future ahead of him. :) Ed has decided his name will be "Primo".
9-2-07 Another Labradoodle joined the Blue Moon family today! Her name is Ginger and she will eventually have her own page here but for now here she is.......
8-24-07 Finally a girl cria arrives at Blue Moon Ranch. Well she doesn't really belong to us, but we are so happy That Mary Owen and Ruby have a girl! Congratulations to both of them! What a cutie! Her name is Mimi.
8-20-07 Appy gave us our seventh boy of the year today. But we are really happy with him. A son of Avatar, we have great hopes for his future here! His name is Avatar's Grayson.
8-16-07 Maralyn finally had her cria today! Great fleece on a very good looking little boy. Congratulations to the Porters on this wonderful addition to their herd. They have decided to name him Hamilton.
8-3-07 Willow surprised me today and had her baby while I was busy watching Maralyn! Congratulations to the Maasbergs on this adorable chocolate boy! His name is Captain Morgan.
7-8-07 Three handsome boys left Blue Moon Ranch for a new home at Hobble Hill Farm today. Sebastian, Gino and MacGyver will be now be cared for by Vicki and Craig and we wish them many happy times with their new boys!
7-7-7 First time since I have owned Petora (since 1998) that she has given me a cria early! I guess she really liked the idea of a 7-7-7- baby! Wonderful fleece from his dad, Teewinot...I even see crimp in his topknot, this boy has a promising future! His name is BMR Cooper.
July 5, 2007 Isabella had her cria today! I can hardly catch this guy to weigh him. For now we are calling him "Zoom-Zoom" but I imagine his registration might say something else. :) Proud dad is Teewinot and once again his fleece is a knock out.
July 1, 2007 Minnie had her cria today! When I put her with Teewinot last year I was hoping for another chocolate baby and that is what we got! Look at that fleece! His name is Woody.
May 22, 2007 Two new girls arrived today from Colorado to join the BMR herd. Sophia, who has eyes like Sophia Lauren is a great addition to my "chocolate collection" and Pistola (white) was simply too cute to pass up! They are settling in nicely and we are thrilled to have them here.
May 18, 2007 Congratulations to Polly Dee Welsh on becoming the new owner of Claire! I would only sell Claire to someone very special and I think Polly and Claire were just made for each other. We wish you the best in your alpaca adventures!
May 15, 2007 The first cria of 2007 arrived today! Congratulations to Kirk and Colleen Doherty, 4D Ranch on this sweet little guy! Whoopi is his mom, Patagonia's Aysen is his dad. They have named him Ziggy Marley. Do you see the Z on his chest?

March 15, 2007 We have a new addition to our herd! Meet OBAR's Kimberly Kay! Not only is she cute, she loves to pose for the camera. Dense black crimpy fleece & great coverage, we think she will be a perfect match with Teewinot when she gets a little older.
February 10, 2007 Congratulations the the Maasbergs on their purchase of Willow and Daisy! Willow will give them a cria this summer and Daisy will give them beautiful babies in the future when she gets a little older. Bill missed the photo shoot, perhaps we'll get him in a picture next time. Best wishes to all of you on this fun new adventure!
January 31, 2007 A new arrival brightened the last day of January at Blue Moon Ranch. "Columbine Ranch Better Wear Shades" arrived from Colorado today. In his pedigree you'll find Peruvian Bueno, Ppperuvian Royal Fawn, Pperuvian Leon, Maple Brook Fandango and Mile High Peruvian Salute. Sink your hands into his fleece and you'll see why he's here! It will be a while before he gets to meet the ladies, but dont tell him that ...he's quite ready now!
