Blue Moon Ranch is  also  home to a wonderful pair of barn cats, Thelma and Louise, who have made sure that there is not a single mouse in the barn since they arrived.  They are loved by all visitors, and get held whenever they want!  They sleep in the hay feeders and seem to enjoy the company of the alpacas, too.

When we moved to Woodland, we were asked by the previous owners to care for "Betty" their barn cat, and two other cats are now enjoying the food we feed our 3 girls, so we don't expect to see many mice around here either!  Pictures of all the new cats will be posted eventually.

In April of 2007 we added a sweet labradoodle puppy, Jack, to the family . He has his own page here

Jack also has a girlfriend, Ginger, who now lives with us too.  (They are in love)

We also have four araucauna chickens who are beautiful, and lay delicious blue eggs for us!    Then we added a black Australorp, 2 silver laced Wyandottes and a crazy rooster named Rod Stewart

Our latest additions are two Great Pyrenees puppies who will be livestock guardians for our alpacas.  See them here.
